I am going to be completely honest, this video does not deserve it’s youtube title. The key to making a successful music video is an american flag bandanna,a happy Asian keyboardist and a catchy hook.

Sorry boys and girls, real life has been getting a hold of me lately, but I did stumble upon this neat little optical illusion…I hope you can see it, if not, you may be schizophrenic…

I’ve been checking out our traffic lately, and it sucks. So instead of finding new videos to post, I’ve been looking at ways to expand and stay focused at the same time. I really contradicted myself in that statement but let me explain. To this point, the majority of our content is just videos off YouTube. While this is a good and easy way to add new content, none of it is really unique and coming from us. The only thing that you’ve got from us is “Hey I thought this video was funny or awesome”, nothing more.

So where I’ve been is off brainstorming some ways to write and create some original content. One thought was to create a comic series depicting events in my life or the other admins live’s. I tossed this idea out because I draw like a 5 year old and what happens to me may not be interesting to you.

One idea I am seriously considering is a “How To” section. Basically we’d choose a task and one of us or all of us will describe how we would go about tackling that task. We could take visitor ideas on this as well. It would be a good way for visitors to interact with us.

Something else I’m looking into is a section with music.  Not sure what it would be yet, but it would be something like a weekly playlist.  What we are listening to or our top songs.  More to come on this I guess.

Initially we set up a bunch of categories for us to file posts into, but really most of them go under Random. I’m looking into removing some of the categories to get more focused. I don’t feel like theres a point in having a category that has 5 posts in it and then another that has 100+. Things need to be a bit more balanced. So we’d remove some of the video categories and add some categories for articles we write. So that’s what I mean when I say expand and focused at the same time.

I’ve noticed the the site runs sloooowwwww at times. I think it might just be because we use GoDaddy as our host. I also thought it might be the theme is too image intensive, but I reverted to the default WordPress theme and it was barely quicker. But before I did that test I was working on a new theme that minimizes the number of images needed. It probably won’t get rolled out for awhile, but I really like the way it looks so it will be used in the future.

So that’s what I’ve been up to.

Ok.  So, according to this ad flowers are old and outdated.  So they say you should buy this product instead.  I would expect this sort of thing to come out of Japan since they have a history of weird products, but I’m pretty sure it’s (unfortunately) from America.  First the Snuggie and now this, I’m losing faith in humanity.

Everyone knows it, and everyone loves it. Adding some attractive ladies to mix never hurts either. There’s really no need for me to go into further detail.

But that is beside the point.  I’m only going to quickly segment this with the following, this is one of the several reasons I love the internet.  Instances of stupid/annoying/funny are abundant.  This is my new favorite, and I’ll be honest with you I didn’t even have to watch a full minute of it to feel that way.  Enjoy.

Now in terms of the video attached below, the first thing that comes to mind is God awful.  I have no idea why you would be a Christian rap band in the first place, as the two things seem mutually exclusive.  Continuing on, apparently it is a sin to hug from the front, but not from the side.  All the lust in those Christian loins simply resist a front hug.  I wonder what their stance on a behind the back hug are.  Feel free to indulge me, and enjoy/mock the video.  Oh, and do share your favorite part from the song or your thoughts on it in general.

Especially when it goes terribly awesomely awry.  Such is the case with the following video in which a hidden camera watches as a man mugs someone or something.  Unfortunately or the “mugger”, the man he attempts to ran past after putting a fishing net on some dude’s head or something, even though he’s in on the act, happens to be a ninja in a civilian disguise.  Watch as the awesomeness ensues.

like he’s using a remote controlled car.  What we have here is a video of Ken Block, a driver for the Subaru Rally America Team, driving the shit out of his uber upgraded STI.  Some of the moves this guy pulls off are insane.  I myself drive a Subaru WRX and could not dream of executing such maneuvers.  But hey, I guess that’s why he’s sponsored, has his own clothing line, competes in the X-Games, and makes money doing exactly the type of things you’re about to see. Oh and by the way gymkhana is apparently a new type of driving event that takes place in a lot of some sort to test a driver’s skill in all types of crazy scenarios, think of it as an obstacle course you drive. So you go check these vids, and if you have these skills on the pavement, I’m sure you too will someday have a sponsorship.
