Here are some things we think you should give a go before you shit the bed

Travis Pastrana and a Big Wheel

Sep 4th, 2009 by emLoo

You usually associate Travis Pastrana with dirt bikes and back flips and other crazy things. Well, he’s ditched his dirt bike and traded it for a big wheel. Oh and he’s still doing back flips.

Just a word of caution: Don’t try this at home, he’s a professional.  You should stick to just rolling down big hills.

Things to do before you Die #4

Jul 13th, 2009 by Optimus Rhymes

So its time to give all the fans out there something to do here in the good ol US. I hear a lot about the Grand Canyon, and I stumbled across a bunch of Grand Canyon helicopter tours. I guess there really isn’t a better thing to do than ride in a helicopter and see one of the most spectacular landmarks the US has to offer.

Ole! La Tomatina!

Jun 22nd, 2009 by Optimus Rhymes

So we’ve traveled to our cousins across the pond and told you to run down a hill, risking life and limb to catch some cheese, and then we’ve told you to pack yourself into virtually any stadium and Europe and watch 90 minutes of madness with 90,000 of your closest fans, avoiding the massive amount of hooliganism, this week we will be heading to Spain!

I’m sure most of you have heard of, or maybe even been a part of the Running of the Bulls, but I want to suggest something a little less known about..La Tomatina

Things To Do Before You Die #2

Jun 16th, 2009 by Optimus Rhymes

his week’s thing to do involves the most popular sport in the world..football.

Call it what you want, soccer,futbol,footy,football..it’s all the same game. I highly recommend that even if your a remote fan, you take a trip to any of the big nations in the world and see a professional game.

Nothing like watching some world class talent with 50,000+, being drunk off your ass, and yelling for 90 minutes straight.

If you’ve ever seen the movie Green Street Hooligans, than you know where all the fun lies. Waking up at the crack of dawn, going to a local pub, and getting your drank on. Filing into a packed stadium with all your friends, and yelling your lungs out for 90 minutes. If your lucky maybe you’ll even run into some hooligans after the game.

Stadiums like Camp Nou in Barcelona hold almost 100,000 people. Check out the top 10 stadiums in the world here.

Say Cheese and Die

Jun 14th, 2009 by Optimus Rhymes

So this is the first installment of what will hopefully be many. I’m pretty sure that the name is pretty self explanatory, each week I’ll highlight a little something something I think you should do before you die, ridiculous or not. This week is…..dun dun dun……….

Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling.

Everyone wants to break a leg all in the name of some cheese. Our good ol’ cousins from across the pond have this wacky tradition every year where they think its fun to run down a ridiculously steep hill after a wheel of Double Gloucester cheese. Can’t really argue with a traditon over 200 years old can you?

Thats Cooper’s Hill right there, to think that people actually go down this thing is ridiculous. So I know now your asking yourself “how do I sign up for this madness?” It’s simple, just show up. Book your tickets to good ol’ England for May 31st 2010, and chase that cheese.

I’ll leave you with the highlight video from this past years event.
